Mike Grimes, CEO
Mike Grimes is an
accomplished sales and business development executive with expertise in
new customer acquisition, go-to-market strategies and strategic
alliances for early-stage companies. Mike has been with Modiv
since 2001.
Prior to Modiv, Mike was Vice
President of North American Sales for PinPoint Corporation, a
manufacturer of real-time proximity solutions for manufacturing and
healthcare markets, where he built and managed the direct and channel
sales teams. Prior to PinPoint, Mike held various VP-level positions at
Telxon Corporation (now part of Motorola), a manufacturer of mobile
wireless information systems. He ran Telxon's northeast division for
four years and later built up its North American channel sales team.

Cynthia McCloud, President, Retail
Cynthia McCloud has deep roots in retail from her 30-year track record of successfully building teams and growing customer relationships. In her role as President, Retail at Modiv, Cynthia's primary responsibility is expanding the company's network of retailers across the country. Cynthia was most recently General Manager of the Research Solutions business unit at MarketTools. Previously, Cynthia led Catalina Marketing's European business division from Paris with full responsibility for multiple business units across Europe. Prior to that, she was Executive Vice President of Retail Sales and Marketing in the U.S. In these roles, she shaped business growth by introducing new technology-based marketing and research solutions for her clients. Before Catalina, Cynthia spent eighteen years with The Vons Companies, a major food and drug retailer in Southern California. Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern California and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine.

John Caron, SVP, Marketing
Bringing more than 20 years of management and entrepreneurial experience in media and commerce technology and services, John is responsible for Modiv's marketing and business development initiatives. Through his innovation and leadership, John has been a driving force behind the growth, IPO, and sale of a half-dozen early-stage and high-growth companies including ATG (now Oracle), Gartner, NuMega (now Compuware), Factpoint (now GeoTrust), and Open Environment (now Borland). John, and his team, developed the marketing strategies that drove ATG's revenues from $25M to $165M. During his tenure at Gartner, a billion dollar global technology research and consulting firm, John's team oversaw the global rebuild of sales efficacy and customer loyalty programs. At NuMega, John's team drove global partner marketing and sales behind a 500% increase in channel revenue. A frequent speaker in both technology and academia, John has guest lectured at Harvard, Babson, Emerson and Northeastern. John holds Bachelor Degrees in Marketing and Finance from Syracuse University.

Jesse Brouhard, VP, Technology
Jesse Brouhard leads the
technology team at Modiv focused on the architecture and
technology strategy of the company’s cloud, in-store, and mobile
platforms. Prior to Modiv, Jesse held a variety of e-commerce
positions including global Online Banking for ACI Worldwide, in-store
shopping solutions for Cuesol, and OldNavy.com at Gap Inc.
Jesse received a Bachelor of Science
in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Jason Carney, VP, Operations
Jason
joined Modiv in 2007 bringing more than 15 years of experience
in the development,
implementation, and support of retail technologies. As VP,
Operations, Jason is responsible for the implementation and
ongoing support of Modiv’s products.
Prior
to joining Modiv, Jason held Information Technology management
positions with Stop &
Shop Supermarkets, Ahold USA, and BJ’s Wholesale Clubs. While at
Stop & Shop Supermarkets, Jason was responsible for the
architecture and support of several generations of retail technologies
including In-Store Processors, Point of Sale, wireless systems,
network, mobile devices, and customer-facing self-service
technologies. Jason also managed the initial pilot
development and rollout of Modiv’s Shopper solution. At
Ahold, Jason provided technical leadership for the strategic
architecture of standardized in-store technology across five US
operating companies. While at BJ’s Wholesale, Jason led the evaluation,
selection, and implementation of their Self-Checkout strategy.

Lucia Shannon, Director, Finance
Lucia brings 10 years experience working for innovative start-up and emerging-growth technology companies. In her role at Modiv, Lucia manages finance, accounting, HR and general administration of the business including financial planning, reporting and cash management. Prior to Modiv, Lucia was the Accounting Manager at Intronis, a cloud backup and recovery business and at nTAG where she implemented core company systems and processes to enhance company performance. Lucia holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Babson College.
