Modiv DeliVision Serves its 15 Millionth Shopper and Expands Retail Presence

Latest Version Offering Multi-Language, Alternate Identification and Web Ordering Options Featured at FMI 2008

BOSTON – May 1, 2008 – Modiv Media, a leader in retail interactive media delivery solutions, announced today that Modiv DeliVision? has served its 15 millionth customer, having expanded its retail presence to more than 225 stores within Stop & Shop, Giant-Landover, Giant Eagle and Ukrops. In addition, Roche Bros., a high-end specialty grocer in New England, has agreed to pilot Modiv DeliVision starting in the early summer. The latest release of Modiv DeliVision featuring new multi-language, alternate ID 'Favorites' and web ordering features designed to serve its growing customer base will be at the Fujitsu booth, number 2467, at the FMI Show plus MARKETECHNICS? on May 4-7, 2008, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

Modiv DeliVision is a first-of-its-kind deli queue optimization and media delivery solution that provides coordinated queue management, self-service kiosk ordering, operations analysis and targeted promotions delivery. Now serving close to 2 million deli shoppers each month compared to 1 million per month in 2007, it not only significantly improves customer experience and deli operations but also has been proven to increase deli sales, items per shopping trip and deli trips per week. A comprehensive usability study conducted during the first quarter of 2008 revealed that users find Modiv DeliVision very easy to use, miss it when shopping at a deli not offering the solution and that 89% are regular kiosk repeat users.

"When we say Roche Bros. is a better way to shop, we prove it in every aisle, every department, with every visit you make. Our goal is to provide service and courtesy unequaled anywhere," said Jeff Dineen, Director of Retail Information Systems, Roche Bros. "We believe Modiv DeliVision will help us further enhance our customers' experience at the deli with shorter wait times during busy periods and with exciting promotions."

New features now being introduced with Modiv DeliVision Version 3.2 bring the value of self-service deli ordering and targeted promotions to a larger audience. Shoppers who prefer to order in Spanish will find an option to do so at the self-service kiosk, and retailers can easily add support for other languages. Retailers who do not use a loyalty card or are interested in offering customers a selection in identification methods, can now provide Favorites access to customers who enter their phone number. And Modiv DeliVision is now ready for retailers to take customers' deli orders on the web for in-store pick-up using the proven DeliVision queue management system. "Our on-going efforts are specifically designed to meet the demands of grocery retailers that want to provide the best possible experience for their deli customers," said Paul Schaut, Chairman and CEO of Modiv Media. "Modiv DeliVision 3.2 expands our ability to bring a better level of service, information and delight to more deli customers."
